CAPI: Centre for Advanced Paranormal Investigation is aware of a program called The Mystery of: The Deane House Vortex. While we question the "facts" presented, our major concern is having the CAPI name and our copyright material associated with this program.

The original CAPI (Calgary Association of Paranormal Investigations) logo and certain information from the CAPI site was used without our consent or authorization. There is also a "CAPI Investigator" mentioned and used as a voice-over. This person is completely unknown to us.

We warn anyone viewing this program on various CTVglobemedia Television outlets (Space, CLT, etc) to understand that CAPI had nothing to do with its production nor was CAPI compensated in any way for the use of our copyright material.

In our first meeting of 2010, CAPI, with the help of Calgary Ghost Tours, came up with an idea.

 

The idea is simple - Invite people to come along on an out of town investigation for a weekend and provide an experience for those interested in learning what an active paranormal investigation is like (including basic CAPI training, visiting an historic location for a weekend, and exclusive extras TBD).

 

Please help us make this idea become a reality by participating in the discussion going on now in the CAPI Forum.

Tom is currently trying to figure out why the CAPI site has stopped functioning as it should.

There is no discernible reason why, after trying to go to another page on the site (with the exception of the CAPI Forum),  a list of links with the content below shows up. The formatting is not loading and is causing this weirdness. This should not be happening.

When the CAPI site is moved to its new server space, these problems should no longer exist (fingers, toes, eyes, etc crossed...).

Thank you for your patience in this process.

No...really...what is going on?

Where are all the new investigations?

Why does the CAPI site seem stale?

Are there new and exciting things happening with CAPI?

The answer to these questions is simple - CAPI has been busy setting up new investigations, working with Calgary Ghost Tours for more info sessions (Ghost Hunting 101), took December off for Christmas (and New Years), is preparing for a move to a new web host and is supporting our Calgary Affiliate, West Paranormal Research, as they prepare for their first series of indoor investigations.

There is a lot more to come from CAPI and our friends. Stay tuned!!
